Mississippi officers sign vehicle to be auctioned for veterans’ charities

Members of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety signed a vehicle at the agency’s headquarters to support the Wounded Warriors of Mississippi, the department said in a social media post.

The department said the vehicle will be auctioned and that all proceeds will benefit charitable organizations that serve veterans and their families.

The Wounded Warriors of Mississippi visited the department’s headquarters for the event, the post said.

The department said it appreciated the opportunity to participate in the fundraising effort.
