Commissioner Sean Tindell and Sen. Dean Kirby discussed a new headquarters and departmental consolidation for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety on the newest episode of “This Week in Pearl,” they said.
The officials said the new headquarters unites the department’s divisions in a single location. They said several departments have been consolidated to improve teamwork across the agency.
Tindell and Kirby said the changes are intended to strengthen communication, collaboration and overall efficiency within the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
The discussion appeared on the most recent episode of “This Week in Pearl,” according to the department.
