Mississippi seeks public input on 2027-2030 transportation plan
The Mississippi Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on its draft 2027-2030 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, MDOT said. The agency said the public comment period runs from July 6 to Aug. 4.
MDOT described the STIP as a four-year plan outlining proposed transportation projects and investments across the state. The agency said the plan sets priorities for state and federal funding.
MDOT said the draft plan is available for review online at https://bit.ly/3PDp78Y. The agency asked residents to review the document and share feedback during the comment period.
MDOT encouraged residents to participate to help shape transportation projects and investments across Mississippi, the agency said.
