National Weather Service: Enhanced Severe Storm Risk in Northwest Corner of State

The National Weather Service has issued an enhanced risk for severe storms for the extreme northwestern corner of the state, the agency said.

The agency warned that most of the state could experience some form of severe weather, and advised residents to remain alert.

The NWS urged residents to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts and to know their safe place in case conditions worsen.

The agency also recommended that residents continue to follow their local meteorologist for the latest forecast updates.
