Northeast Mississippi Community College MI-BEST program has eight openings for fall 2026
Northeast Mississippi Community College said its MI-BEST program has eight openings for fall 2026 for students seeking a high school equivalency and career training.
The college said the program allows eligible students to earn a high school equivalency (HSE) while enrolling in a career training pathway. The college said participants may receive assistance with tuition, books, supplies and other supportive services.
The college said applicants may qualify if they are single parents, custodial or noncustodial, need to earn a high school equivalency, or have a Bronze-level WorkKeys certificate or higher.
The college said career pathways available through the program include certified nursing assistant, emergency medical technician, industrial maintenance, Medical Administrative Medical Assistant (CMAA), welding and phlebotomy.
