NWS expands enhanced severe-storm risk to parts of Memphis metro

The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee said an enhanced risk for severe storms expanded slightly to include portions of the Memphis metropolitan area.

All hazards — damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes — are possible across the Mid-South today, the office said.

The office asked people to submit storm reports online at https://www.weather.gov/meg/submitstormreport, the office said.
