NWS Memphis warns of more strong to severe storms this afternoon and evening

The National Weather Service in Memphis warned that another round of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected this afternoon and evening.

The agency said the overnight severe threat has largely ended, with only a few strong storms remaining across north Mississippi.

The office urged residents to know where to go if a warning is issued and to remain weather aware this afternoon and evening.
