Rainfall forecast through Saturday reduced as Arthur’s remnants shift southeast

Forecast rainfall totals through Saturday have decreased, forecasters said.

The change is mainly due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur taking a more southeasterly track, forecasters said.

The greatest rainfall totals are expected in portions of northeast Mississippi, where about 1.5 inches of rain is anticipated, forecasters said.
