Ripley seeks new retail, restaurants ahead of Highway 15 bypass

Ripley officials said they are working to recruit new retail and restaurant options for the community as the planned Highway 15 bypass moves forward, according to a city news release.

Mayor Jon Grisham said the city is not waiting to see what happens along the corridor and is “getting out in front of it,” the release said.

“People in Ripley want more shopping and dining close to home and shouldn’t have to drive out of town to find it,” Grisham said in the release.

The release said the city is partnering to attract businesses that would serve local residents near the bypass corridor. The city provided a link to the full release for additional information.
