Several Class B-82 cadets to join First Circuit agencies, DA says

District Attorney Jason D. Herring said he taught criminal law to Class B-82 at the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center and that several members of the class will begin serving with law enforcement agencies within the First Circuit Court District after graduation.

Herring said he had the privilege of teaching the cadets and described them as professional, dedicated and committed to serving their communities.

“I am grateful for their willingness to answer that call,” Herring said. He extended his best wishes as they complete their training and earn certification.

Herring thanked the cadets for the sacrifices they are making in preparation for a life of public service, according to a statement from his office.
