A social media post urged people to avoid drinking and driving as Cinco de Mayo coincided with Taco Tuesday, according to the message.
The post warned that people should not drive after consuming alcohol and advised handing car keys to a sober friend before drinking, the message said.
It included festive language and emojis and carried the hashtags #CincoDeMayo, #TacoTuesday, #DriveSober and #DriveSmartMS, according to the post.
The message said, “Fiesta responsibly so we all make it home safely, y’all!” and encouraged people to choose a sober driver before any alcohol was consumed, the post said.
