Storms along Kentucky-Tennessee border to move into west Tennessee, update says

At 8:40 a.m. CDT, a weather update said thunderstorms skirting the Kentucky-Tennessee border were expected to move southeast into portions of west Tennessee within 15 to 30 minutes.

The update said gusty winds, lightning and heavy rainfall were likely as the storms advanced.

The update said the storms were being monitored and that conditions could change as the system moves southeast.
