Two Baldwyn residents charged with felony shoplifting in Tupelo

Two residents of Baldwyn face felony shoplifting charges following incidents at a Tupelo Walmart, according to police reports.

On Aug. 6, officers responded to the store at 3929 North Gloster Street after store personnel reported multiple thefts involving two individuals. The suspects allegedly stole merchandise from the business several times, authorities said.

After further investigation, Zandria S. Smith, 35, was arrested on Aug. 14 and charged with felony shoplifting. The next day, police took Exzadrian S. Smith, 34, into custody and also charged him with felony shoplifting.

On Aug. 16, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered both suspects to be held on a $5,000 bond. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury, police confirmed.
