Tupelo police to host ‘Let’s Ride’ bicycle safety event May 29

The Tupelo Police Department will host a “Let’s Ride” bicycle safety event Friday, May 29, at Robins Noble Park, the department said.

The department said the event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will include bike safety tips, bike checks, free helmets while supplies last, food, drinks, inflatables and a bike giveaway.

Organizers are encouraging attendees to register. The department said people seeking registration information should contact Capt. Katarsha White at katarsha.white@tupeloms.gov or 662-871-7856.
