Tupelo police postpone “Let’s Ride” bicycle safety event

The Tupelo Police Department said it postponed the “Let’s Ride” bicycle safety event scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026, because of recent rain and wet park conditions. The department said the event was canceled and will be rescheduled; it said a new date will be released once finalized and apologized for the inconvenience.

According to the department, the evening event would have included bicycle safety tips, bike checks, free helmets while supplies last, food, drinks, inflatables and a bike giveaway.

The event had been planned for Robins Noble Park/Field from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on May 29, the department said.
