Tupelo supervisors attend Mississippi law enforcement command college

Several supervisors from the Tupelo Police Department attended the 22nd Annual Mississippi Law Enforcement Command College at the University of Mississippi, the department said.

The department said the program was co-hosted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Mississippi Association of Chiefs of Police.

It covered leadership, ethics and budgeting, among other subjects intended to prepare law enforcement leaders for the challenges of the profession, the department said.

The Tupelo Police Department said it values ongoing training and professional development as it continues serving the community. The department identified those pictured from left to right as Sergeant Whitaker, Lieutenant Johnson, Sergeant Whitlock, Lieutenant Jumper and Lieutenant Shepherd.
