Arrests Made in Starkville in Connection with Shooting
Two arrests were made over the past week in connection with a shooting that occurred in Starkville on Monday, Dec. 7.
Authorities apprehended Roderiques Lockett, 24, and John King Jr., 35, on Dec. 10 and Dec. 14, respectively. Both men have been charged with attempted murder and armed robbery.
A statement from the Starkville Police Department can be read below.
“Two arrests have been made in a Monday, December 7, 2020, shooting that occurred on Reed Ridge Circle. Roderiques Lockett (24), arrested December 10th, and John King, Jr. (35), arrested December 14th, were both charged with attempted murder and armed robbery.
The Starkville Police Department continues to investigate the incident and more arrests are likely.
