Medgar Evers Library in Jackson closed for HVAC repairs

The Medgar Evers Library in Jackson will remain temporarily closed because of ongoing HVAC cooling issues, the Jackson Hinds Library System said, WJTV reported.

Library officials said they hope the branch can reopen by mid- to late summer, according to WJTV.

Officials told WJTV the branch has struggled with heating and cooling problems. They did not provide a firm reopening date beyond the estimated mid- to late-summer timeframe.
