Mississippi State learned Sunday night that it will host a postseason regional at Dudy Noble Field, the NCAA selection announcements showed.
The Bulldogs found out Monday which teams will join them in Starkville for regional play this weekend, according to the NCAA announcements.
Analysts Brian Hadad and Brooks Bryan reviewed the Starkville Regional and offered their assessment of Mississippi State’s chances to advance to the Super Regionals, the pair said.
The regional marks the start of Mississippi State’s pursuit of the College World Series in Omaha, with play scheduled to begin this weekend in Starkville, the NCAA announcements indicated.
