Judge blocks Mamdani rollout of $5 million second-home tax
A Staten Island judge temporarily blocked Zohran Mamdani’s rollout of a New York City tax on second homes valued at more than $5 million, according to multiple reports.
The ruling by Judge Wayne Ozzi, a Democrat on the state Supreme Court, required the city to take down a public list of more than 900,000 entries, the reports said.
The reports did not immediately provide additional details about the legal challenge or the city’s response, multiple outlets said.
