President Donald Trump planned to head into New York City Monday evening to attend Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, the White House said.
City officials moved a planned public watch party into Bryant Park from outside Madison Square Garden because of heightened security, officials said.
Officials said heightened security prompted the abrupt change to the watch party plans. No further details were provided.
