Northeast Mississippi Community College said its first graduation ceremony of the day concluded and praised graduates for their commitment, resilience and hard work, adding a second ceremony was scheduled for 6 p.m., the college said in a social media post.

The Gaye Roden Carr Aquatic Center announced pool rentals for birthdays, parties and special events this summer. Officials said swim lesson dates will be released soon.

NEMCC said it is seeking lifeguards for the summer, open to graduating high school seniors and current students. Applicants must be certified or willing to earn certification.
