The South Tippah School District has issued a mask mandate, according to a social media post from Ripley High School.
From RHS:
The STSD has determined that due to the number of cases and individuals quarantined a mandatory mask mandate will go into effect Wednesday, August 11th. This mandate will be re-evaluated on Labor Day. All RHS students will be required to wear a mask beginning Wednesday!
Numerous reports have the number of STSD students currently out of school due to COVID protocols at well over 100.
