Forecasters say a marginal risk for a few severe thunderstorms exists across parts of east Arkansas, north Mississippi and southwest Tennessee later this afternoon into the evening, with damaging winds the primary threat.

Short-term weather models indicate increasing chances of fog tonight into Sunday morning along and south of the I-40 corridor, the forecast said. Forecasters urged residents to monitor updates and allow extra time for Sunday morning plans.
