17 injured, no fatalities reported after Mississippi storms, MEMA says
The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said it had received preliminary reports that 17 people were injured and no fatalities were reported after severe weather struck the state on May 6-7, 2026.
MEMA said it continues to respond to the severe weather events that impacted the state on those dates.
