The U.S. National Weather Service in Memphis said a late June heat wave will continue, with a Heat Advisory in effect through Wednesday a.m. and an Extreme Heat Watch beginning Wednesday a.m. and continuing through Thursday p.m.
The office urged residents to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks from outdoor activity, saying heat impacts are a concern.
The warning was posted by the National Weather Service in Memphis.
