Disaster Preparedness Day will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Lowe’s Meridian, 100 15th Place South in Meridian, organizers said.
Organizers said the event will provide information on preparing for storms and other emergencies and will connect attendees with local preparedness resources.
The announcement did not include a start time or a detailed schedule, organizers said.
Organizers urged residents to plan ahead, saying, “A little preparation today can make a big difference tomorrow.”
