District attorney thanks 2026 summer interns

Jason D. Herring, district attorney for the First Circuit Court District, thanked the office’s 2026 summer interns for their work and contributions, his office said.

Herring’s office said the students demonstrated professionalism, dedication and a commitment to public service while producing excellent work during their time with the office.

The interns were Luke Pinson of Tupelo, Mississippi, a second-year law student at Tulane University; Ella Pitts of Mantachie, Mississippi, a second-year law student at Mississippi College; Lily Shaw of Corinth, Mississippi, a second-year law student at the University of Mississippi; Carter Grubbs of Guntown, Mississippi, a second-year law student at the University of Mississippi; and Autumn Looney of Senatobia, Mississippi, a third-year law student at the University of Mississippi.

Herring’s office said it appreciated the time the students invested in serving the office and the community and wished them well as they continue their legal education.
