Forecasters said a wet and unsettled weather pattern will develop this week, with elevated chances of severe weather from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday morning.
They released a video showing probabilities of key severe-weather ingredients, including atmospheric instability and wind shear, for the period from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday morning, the forecasters said.
Officials also warned of a potential for flash flooding and urged residents to monitor forecasts and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.
