A wet and unsettled pattern will continue across the Mid-South into the upcoming weekend, forecasters said.
Daily showers and a few thunderstorms are expected, especially during peak heating in the afternoon and early evening, meteorologists said.
Total rainfall through Friday evening is expected to average up to 1 inch, with the highest reasonable amounts ranging from 1 to 2 inches, forecasters said.
Forecasters said the chances for showers and storms will remain daily through the weekend, with the threat focused during the warmer part of the day.
