MDOT: Crashes, vehicle fire block eastbound lanes on I-10 and I-20
The Mississippi Department of Transportation said at 4:30 p.m. June 25 that crashes and a vehicle fire had blocked eastbound lanes on I-10 and I-20, causing delays for drivers in Jackson and Lauderdale counties.
MDOT said a crash on I-10 eastbound on the Pascagoula River Bridge before MS 613 (Exit 68) in Jackson County left the left eastbound lane blocked.
MDOT said a vehicle fire on I-20 eastbound before Toomsuba (Exit 165) in Lauderdale County blocked all eastbound lanes.
MDOT said a separate crash on I-10 eastbound at Gautier (Exit 61) in Jackson County left the left eastbound lane blocked.
MDOT advised drivers to use caution during evening travel and posted traffic maps showing the incidents on its traffic website, the agency said.
