A vehicle fire has blocked all eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 just before Exit 19 in Hinds County, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
The closure is on I-20 eastbound before Mississippi 22 at the Flora/Edwards exit, MDOT’s traffic map showed.
MDOT warned motorists to expect delays and consider alternate routes while crews respond to the incident.
MDOT’s traffic map did not list further details about the cause, injuries or an estimated time for reopening the lanes.
