Organizers said MDOT’s Highway Safety Division Director, Mark Thomas, P.E., will lead the next installment of the quarterly LPA Transportation Toolbox webinar series on Tuesday, May 5. The presentation is titled “Right-Sizing Your Roadway” and will examine balancing operational demand with safety, organizers said.
The webinar is scheduled for 12:30-1:30 p.m., organizers said. They described the session as more than a presentation, saying it will allow attendees to ask questions and share challenges facing their communities.
Organizers said the webinar is open to local public agency officials, planners, designers and engineers. They said participants can earn one professional development hour for attending.
Registration is available through a link in the event announcement’s comments, organizers said.
