Mississippi Governor Declares May as Older Americans Month

Governor Tate Reeves has declared May as Older Americans Month in Mississippi. In a statement, Reeves said, “I am proud to proclaim May as Older Americans’ Month in the State of Mississippi.”

The governor highlighted the significance of recognizing older adults and their contributions to families and communities across the state and country. This year’s theme is “Champion Your Health,” which focuses on empowering seniors to manage their physical, mental, and emotional health.
