Tupelo police hold pinning ceremony for two promoted sergeants
The Tupelo Police Department said it held a pinning ceremony to recognize two newly promoted sergeants.
Sergeant James Hood was promoted to serve as the Edward Shift patrol sergeant, the department said. Sergeant Ben Uhiren was promoted to serve as the Special Operations Group sergeant, the department said.
The department said the promotions were well-earned and that it wished both officers success in their new roles.
