Mississippi opens five disaster centers for Tropical Storm Arthur survivors
The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency will open five Disaster Service Centers at noon Tuesday, Aug. 18, to assist residents whose property was damaged by Tropical Storm Arthur on June 18-20, 2026, the agency said. The centers are part of federal disaster response for DR-4930-MS, MEMA said.
The centers will provide application assistance to residents of Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River and Stone counties, MEMA said.
Residents who cannot apply in person may apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or by using the FEMA App, MEMA said.
