Mississippi opens five disaster service centers after Tropical Storm Arthur

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said five disaster service centers will be open June 18–20 to assist residents affected by Tropical Storm Arthur. The agency referenced federal disaster declaration DR-4930-MS.

The agency said the centers are located across Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River and Stone counties.

The agency said applicants should bring their Social Security number; contact information; household income before taxes; information about damage; insurance information; and direct deposit information.

The agency said residents do not have to visit a center to apply. They can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or by using the FEMA app.
