Tupelo man arrested on vehicle burglary conspiracy charges

Demaro R. Hubbard, 28, of Tupelo, was arrested Aug. 30 and charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary of a vehicle, police said. Authorities said the arrest followed an investigation.

Police responded Aug. 21 to 882 Cross Creek Drive, the Carlock Toyota dealership, after a burglary of a vehicle was reported, according to police. Officers contacted a victim who said property had been stolen from the vehicle.

Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Hubbard held on a $10,000 bond on Aug. 31, court records show.

The charges will be presented to the Lee County grand jury, police said.
