The National Weather Service in Memphis said in a social media post that a very brief cooldown is expected tomorrow, but the Delta region and portions of northern Mississippi remain under a Heat Advisory for heat indices of 105 F or higher.
The office said Wednesday will warm again and will likely warrant heat headlines areawide.
The National Weather Service said Thursday and into the weekend look “pleasant” in comparison.
