The National Weather Service office in Memphis, Tennessee, warned in a social media post that a heat wave will begin tomorrow and that heat indices are expected to top 100 degrees, the office said.
As a result, the office issued a Heat Advisory for tomorrow and placed an Extreme Heat Watch in effect for Monday through Thursday, the post said.
The office urged residents to limit outdoor activity, stay hydrated and check in on loved ones, the post said.
