Scattered clouds continued across portions of the Mid-South, with temperatures ranging from the 80s in northern counties to nearly 90°F farther south, forecasters said.
A Heat Advisory remains in effect for portions of north to central Mississippi, forecasters said.
Forecasters gave no additional details on timing or impacts for areas under the advisory.
Tropical Storm Bertha remains in the Gulf of Mexico but is not expected to impact the Mid-South, forecasters said.
