Terry W. Richey II, 39, of Tupelo was arrested May 13 and charged with one count of aggravated domestic violence, the Tupelo Police Department said.
Police said officers responded April 22 to North Parc Circle in reference to a previous domestic assault and were told the victim had been assaulted by an estranged spouse.
After further investigation, police said, Richey was arrested on May 13. Tupelo Municipal Court records show Judge Allen ordered him held on a $25,000 bond that day.
The case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury, the Tupelo Police Department said.
