Tupelo man charged with felony indecent exposure after nude arrest behind Walmart

Tupelo Police Department said Derek Kimble, 32, was arrested June 10 after officers found him nude behind the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 316 South Gloster Street.

Police said officers responded to the store on June 10 and located an individual behind the building. After a short foot pursuit, the department said, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Jail.

On June 11, the Tupelo Police Department charged Kimble with felony indecent exposure, the department said. Police said Kimble previously was convicted of felony indecent exposure and served prison time for that offense.

Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Kimble held on a $15,000 bond, police said. The Mississippi Department of Corrections placed a hold on Kimble, and the department said the charges will be presented to the Lee County grand jury.
