Pontotoc man arrested on grand larceny charge after stolen trailer found
Dashun J. Cooperwood, 28, of Pontotoc, was arrested June 11 and charged with one count of grand larceny, the Tupelo Police Department said.
Police said the investigation began May 14 when officers contacted a victim who reported a stolen trailer. While on the way to the police station to file a report, the victim located the trailer at the West Main Shopping Center, the department said.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen on June 12 ordered Cooperwood held on a $5,000 bond, the police said.
The case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury, the Tupelo Police Department said.
