Tupelo man charged with felony shoplifting after multiple thefts
Authorities in Tupelo have arrested a man suspected of multiple shoplifting incidents at a local retail store.
On June 8, officers with the Tupelo Police Department responded to Kohl’s at 3982 North Gloster Street. Store personnel reported that three individuals had stolen merchandise from the store on multiple occasions, according to police.
Following an investigation, Delyon A. Harris, 29, of Tupelo, was taken into custody on June 19 and charged with felony shoplifting, police said. On June 21, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Harris held on a $20,000 bond.
The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury, police said.
