The Tupelo Police Department said it marked National Police Woman Day by recognizing women who serve in law enforcement across the country and by praising its own officers.
The department said it is proud of the women who serve the department and the community each day.
Their work is an important part of what the department does and the service it provides to the citizens of Tupelo, the department said.
The department added, “We appreciate all that you do!”
