Tupelo police launch Operation Safe Summer to boost patrols, enforce curfew

The Tupelo Police Department launched Operation Safe Summer to bolster patrols and enforce curfews this season, Chief Quaka told WTVA.

Chief Quaka told WTVA the effort will focus on curfew enforcement, community engagement and increased patrols.

The initiative is intended to ensure public safety during the summer months, the department said.
