Two arrested in Tupelo commercial building burglary
Two Tupelo residents were arrested and charged with burglary of a commercial building after police investigated a break-in, authorities said.
Police identified the suspects as Reid M. Raines, 27, of Tupelo, and Olivia S. Adams, 21, of Tupelo. Officers arrested both on July 15, police said.
Officers responded July 10 to a residence on West Main Street that the owner said was unoccupied and being used for storage. The owner told officers the building had been burglarized and multiple items were stolen, police said.
On July 17, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set bond at $10,000 each, and police said the charges will be presented to the Lee County grand jury. Authorities also said the Mississippi Department of Corrections placed a hold on Raines.
