The Indiana Fever extended their winning streak to three games with a 123-88 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night. The team set a franchise record for points scored in a game, including the biggest first-half lead in franchise history at 70-46.
Caitlin Clark, who was announced as an NBA 2K27 cover athlete earlier in the day, led Indiana with 27 points and 11 assists for her 10th double-double of the season. She scored 21 points by halftime and finished the game with a strong performance.
Teammate Kelsey Mitchell added 23 points, while Aliyah Boston, the top pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, contributed 22 points. Monique Billings and Tyasha Harris each scored 12 points, and the Fever shot 50% from three-point range, connecting on 11 of 22 attempts.
The victory improved Indiana’s record to 17-10. With the win, the Fever remain atop the Eastern Conference standings, just a half-game ahead of Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream. Indiana will now focus on All-Star weekend, where Clark, Boston, and Mitchell will represent the team in Chicago.
