Ripley Main Street plans movie night and back-to-school bash at The Cut-Off

Ripley Main Street said it will host two community events at The Cut-Off on Friday, Aug. 14, and Saturday, Aug. 15, including a free outdoor movie and a back-to-school celebration.

Movie Night is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 14, at dusk and will feature “Zootopia 2,” Ripley Main Street said. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets; popcorn will be available. Rebel Services LLC is sponsoring the movie night, the group said.

The Back to School Bash will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, and will include face painting, games, pop-up vendors, food trucks and a school supply giveaway, Ripley Main Street said.

Both events will take place at The Cut-Off, 204 South Commerce Street in Ripley, Mississippi, Ripley Main Street said. The group encouraged families to attend both evenings.
